Overview
Hello! My name is Tom Petterson. I am a music instructor, accompanist, and music therapist in the Pittsburgh area.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance, and a Master’s Degree in Music Therapy. I currently teach piano and guitar lessons in the Shadyside/Friendship area and surrounding neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. Additionally, I provide piano accompaniment for individuals and choirs on an as-needed basis. I have previously provided music therapy services full-time at Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic, UPMC Braddock, and UPMC McKeesport.
