Accompaniment
I have been accompanying instrumentalists, vocalists, and choirs in various respects for approximately twelve years. As I feel that music is meant to be experienced with other people, I deeply enjoy opportunities to support and know other musicians through their work. I am adept at sight-reading, quickly follow the lead of other musicians, and am devoted to learning music accurately for performances and auditions.
As a locally-based pianist, I am flexible with scheduling rehearsals to fit the needs of the musicians with which I accompany. Rehearsals may take place at a location of your choice (granted a piano is available, of course) or in Algiers Point or St. Roch at my piano studio or home. Fees are generally at a fixed hourly rate for rehearsals. For the actual performance or audition, fees may vary depending on the day of the event, length of time required, and level of difficulty of piece(s).
